The national programmes have become so successful that WISE has also launched a WISE committee in Wales to cater for the specific needs of women in Wales.

WISE in Wales Initiatives

WISE in Wales produced the 'WISE UP!' video showing successful women engineers and scientists in Wales. The video is aimed at 12 - 16 year old girls.

The WISE in Wales Committee also runs one day taster courses for girls aged 11 - 13, hosted at various Welsh universities.

Conferences aimed at teachers and careers advisers as well as training days for careers advisors are run regularly.
